Ellie King

Ellie is a Labour Councillor for Hillfields and previously served as Cabinet member for Public Health and Communities, as well as vice chair of the Environment and Sustainability Committee. She co-chairs the Bristol Good Food 2030 Steering Group, sits on the Food Equality Strategy and Action Plan Group, and is a trustee of Hillfields Community Garden.

Ellie is motivated by moving from a food system often defined by crisis to one rooted in long term resilience – where nourishing food is accessed with dignity, and where care for people goes hand in hand with care for the environment.
